We are situated very conveniently between Durban and Pietermaritzburg (half an hour from each) and on the Comrades Marathon route and a short distance from where the Dusi Marathon is held. This is a lovely scenic area close to many Art and Craft shops, restaurants and coffee bars.

Umgeni Steam Railway

A vintage steam-train that takes a trip back in time along the old main line built between 1877 and 1880.It journeys from Kloof station to Inchanga and back providing a half way stop off to buy local crafts and have a meal.Great again for the whole family.

Shongweni and Inanda Dams

Wildlife, magnificent cliffsand waterfalls, luxuriant forests and open thorn tree plains are home to rhino, buffalo, giraffe. Walking, horseback trail, scaling a cliff, canoeing or fishing for bass available for the active person.
